Fruit Juices

shelf life of fruit juices

In the U.S., the term fruit juice can only be used to describe a product that is 100% fruit juice. Juices blended with other ingredients are referred to as juice cocktails or juice drinks.

Although many commercial juices are filtered to remove fiber or pulp, high-pulp orange juice remains a favorite among many consumers. Apple, orange, and grapefruit juices continue to be popular but have lost ground to so-called blends, such as cranapple (cranberry and apple combined).
